We Specialize in Leisure Travel We specialize in leisure vacation packages, independent and escorted tours plus cruise vacations. We do not handle corporate travel. We prefer to be working on customer’s vacations rather than shopping airline fares but we do include airline tickets with tours, cruises and vacation packages. Over twenty years, we have traveled to most US cities, almost all of the Caribbean islands and much of Europe. We are very good at Caribbean all-inclusives and even small hotels. Gina’s family is Sicilian and we specialize in Italy and Sicily plus we can do trips to all of Europe including airfare, hotels and even train tickets with seat assignments. Gina is a Disney and Vegas Specialist and John handles itineraries to South America and other exotic locales. We have access to specialists in other offices where we trade knowledge to make sure we can answer every question and we want you to have as much fun traveling as we have. We are members of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and offer the best cruise vacations from three to 14 days from all Florida ports and Alaska. Who are we? Market Access Promotions, Inc. has been in the travel agency business for over 20 years. We are a travel agency with trained counselors to assist with your vacation planning. The company principles John and Gina Rice started in the travel business immediately after college when they started Spring Break in Jamaica. Traditionally, colllege kids took trips to US destinations like Daytona Beach or Fort Lauderdale, but cheap airfares under deregulation made it possible to spend three days in Jamaica for as little as $199 so thousands flocked to foreign shores and the company grew. They quickly became tour operators for Caribbean Islands like Jamaica, Bahamas, Antigua, Barbados and St. Kitts using wholesale airline contracts, local ground operators and hotel contracts to build packages that were sold primarily through travel agents. In the nineties, the company became the largest tour operator for JAMVAC that was a Government Agency from Jamaica that had a mission to open cities for Jamaican tourism. This business continued to grow with up to 15 reservation agents selling island packages with phenomenal growth due to the charter jet operations run by JAMVAC. We were also involved with travel legends like Freddie Laker and Butch Stewart of Sandals fame as everybody grew companies in the fast paced deregulation of airlines and travel. At the Pinnacle of this stage of the business, John and Gina were awarded a Blue Mountain Award by the Government of Jamaica for our contribution to tourism on the island. After 9/11, the travel business changed and the economies of scale were not available to continue with a tour operation nor jet charters. The company began to downsize and transition to retail travel (direct to customers) and our group of websites were born. Caribbean Tour & Cruise was the first project of the company which was very successful immediately with the background in Caribbean Travel which now sells regionally in the Southern United States. This was followed by Vacation Tour & Cruise as the last travel agency in our small town exited the business so we could expand into Worldwide travel products using our lifetime of travel experience. We do a great job with point to point independent travel and we have companies that do great escorted tours and river cruises Worldwide. We even host inbound tourists to the United States using our USAtravelconcierge.com website and we offer other niche market travel offerings. We have no trouble matching web prices on vacations, tours and cruises, but our local office and professional service is a bonus.
